Albemarle County elected officials are being bullied and influenced by City of Charlottesville activists to raise real estate taxes to fund housing affordability.
Make it make sense, please. We are living in “Bizarro World” except this is not a Seinfeld episode; it is real life instead.
The same City activists are now backing Sally Duncan’s campaign for Albemarle County Board of Supervisors. Are Albemarle voters smart enough to connect the dots on June 17 (Democratic Primary – Duncan vs. Dave Shreve), or do Albemarle voters want to fork-over more of their hard-earned money to a jurisdiction that just approved a $644,000,000 yearly budget on the back of its taxpayers?
